Independent commercial vehicle sourcing

Used car factory sourcing with unit-level evidence

ReFleet Exchange turns a used vehicle duty, condition profile requirement and delivery scope into a consistent request for candidate original manufacturers. We coordinate the comparison; we are not a manufacturer, dealer, importer of record or approval authority.

Four inputs keep used vehicle quotations comparable

Duty

Describe cargo, route, grades, road or site conditions, shift pattern and climate. Identify vocational equipment, loading method and whether the used vehicle must tow or support auxiliary equipment.

Configuration

State cab, model and VIN, wheelbase, axle count, condition profile dimensions, powertrain and drivetrain. Request gross vehicle weight rating, combined weight rating, axle rating, load capacity and towing rating figures for the quoted configuration rather than a family maximum.

Quantity

List the units required for each configuration and whether a pilot unit or inspection stage is needed. MOQ, current production capacity and lead time require a supplier response for this request.

Destination

Name the US state or port, Incoterm, target window and document scope. Separate vehicle price, condition profile work, inspection, inland transport, freight, duty and destination-side services.

Used vehicle sourcing questions

Can ReFleet Exchange guarantee stock or price?

No. Availability, price, MOQ and timing require a current quotation for the exact used vehicle configuration and order scope.

How are factory responses compared?

We align condition profile, model and VIN, ratings, quantity, destination, Incoterm, inspection and document requirements before identifying differences.

Which ratings require exact evidence?

gross vehicle weight rating, combined weight rating, axle ratings, load capacity and towing rating depend on model and VIN, condition profile, options and load distribution. Ask for the basis tied to the offered unit.

Does a family document prove US applicability?

No. FMVSS, EPA and related material must match the category, model, configuration and model year; qualified destination-side parties decide acceptance.

Can a buyer start without an existing quote?

Yes. Begin with the duty and required configuration. Budget and supplier preference are optional inputs for outreach, not verified supplier ratings.

Start with a vehicle specification, reference link or duty brief

Include condition profile type, ratings, quantity, destination and the records that must be verified. An optional budget may state currency and a per-unit or total-order basis.
