Used car inspection checklist for comparable quotations

A supplier headline, family name, or unit price does not define the same vehicle. ReFleet Exchange helps business buyers place seating, accessibility, dimensions, ratings, powertrain, evidence, commercial terms, and delivery responsibilities into one comparison ledger.

COMPARISON LEDGER

Resolve open specifications and scope line by line

Use the same requirement column for every candidate. Mark a response as confirmed, proposed alternative, excluded, or pending evidence; do not hide a deviation inside a general “meets requirement” statement.

Alternative configurations

An alternative may be commercially useful, but it must be compared against the original passenger, route, depot, rating, document, and delivery needs. Record what improves, what changes, and what cannot yet be verified.

Landed-cost boundaries

Factory price is only one line. Compare inspection, documentation, inland transport, freight, duty, port handling, destination modification, commissioning, training, and service preparation under the same scope. A lower unit price may not mean a lower total procurement cost.

Compliance evidence

Company or vehicle-family documents do not automatically prove exact-model applicability. Match category, configuration, model year, and destination, then use qualified reviewers for import, registration, and operating requirements.

Performance limitations

Passenger capacity depends on layout and rating assumptions. Electric range depends on test cycle and real duty. Production timing changes with specification and order. Used condition cannot be established without unit-level evidence.
